TWO GIRLS FOR A CAUSE: Sonia Parada and Xibie Corea have come together to raise money for a great cause: DIABETES RESEARCH INSTITUTE – Cure Diabetes Now. Both are very familiar with the disease; Sonia’s niece just nine years old and Gabriela’s father are diabetic. This is a serious disease that they believe people are not very familiar with and more can be done to help the cause.
The event this Friday (April 5th) at THE HANGAR, doors open at 6pm. It was put together with a lot of love and effort and it has become a fundraising full of life: showcasing art, music and performances. Raffles will be happening the entire night (about every 20 minutes) giving away artwork (value $100-$850) and prizes from sponsors ($25 and up).
100% of all benefits and profits will go strictly to the Diabetes Research Institute.
